Artist Statement
The weight of a piece: The pressure of touch
JooHyun Lee enjoys the meditative process of carving and shaping the mass; the piece is shaped as she applies pressure.
The piece then contains Lee's energy comprised of applied pressure, till eventually transfers to the user/wearer during their own experience of it.
